Nodes

A node represents a region on the map. Players can travel between nodes similar to how a game piece travels across a game board. Players can only navigate to a node that is “connected” to the node which they are in at the time.

Nodes are numbered, and players can toggle numbered nodes when looking at the map. The following game elements can be found within various nodes: planets, space stations, portals, satellites, asteroids and other player or AI ships. Some nodes present the option to land on planets, space stations or portals in order to access additional options.

Planets

While on a planet, players are safe from harm and can participate in a number of administrative options. Planets are controlled by whichever guild has their satellite deployed to the planet.

Space Stations

Players can land on space stations for administrative tasks, similar to planets. However, unlike planets, guilds are unable to install satellites on space stations to control them.

Portals

The primary purpose of portals is to facilitate travel between different zones. Zone 1 contains 3 portals that transports players to Zone 2 and back, while Zone 2 and Zone 3 share just one portal. Portals cannot be claimed and the only other action available to players while docked on a portal is Repair.
